Obi visited Atiku in his Asokoro, Abuja residence around 3pm on Friday, after which they went into a closed-door meeting, fuelling speculations that the Waziri of Adamawa could announce him as his running mate anytime from now. But the meeting is already creating a frenzy on social media, especially Twitter, with many commentators having their say on the combo of Atiku and Obi. Ladies and gentlemen, … pic.twitter.com/pACZH1jnlV — FAVOUR ONYEOZIRI (GCFR) (@Rouvafe) October 12, 2018 Looks like Peter Obi will be the VP. That will be a solid solid solid solid pick. It’s only been 5 days but, so far, Atiku hasn’t put a foot wrong yet — tyro (@DoubleEph) October 12, 2018 I want to first congratulate every Nigerian then South Easterners for the choice of Peter Obi as running mate of Atiku. It’s not enough to always shout unity, this is what unity is. — Adeyanju Deji 🇳🇬 (@adeyanjudeji) October 12, 2018 I think @atiku & PETER OBI will make a great team. They are both successful business men. They both understand the benefits of industrialization. And most importantly, they are both employers of labour.. What more can Nigerians ask for if not employment?#AtikuAndPeterObi2019 pic.twitter.com/ezDgysxIDQ — Ayeesha Musa (@AyeeshaMusa1) October 12, 2018 Peter Obi. Damn! — Gimba Kakanda (@gimbakakanda) October 12, 2018 We need to bring in managers and creators of resources not sharers of resources – Peter Obi — Youths For Atiku (@YouthsForAtiku) October 12, 2018 Atiku – President Peter Obi – Vice President. RT if you are going to campaign & vote for this combination.#NigeriaWillWorkAgain — Damilola. A (@LivingInNigeria) October 12, 2018 Thank you HE Atiku Abubakar for picking Peter Obi as your running mate. Nobody can call Peter Obi corrupt; he will tell you you’re wasteful and you can’t respond. Let’s win this once and for all. Peter Obi has more integrity than everyone in this Admin. Verifiable integrity. — Somto Onuchukwu (@chosensomto) October 12, 2018 Great choice. Peter Obi is a complete nwa afor. — Dr Chima Matthew Amadi (@AMADICHIMA) October 12, 2018 I swear i love the energy from Yorubas towards Peter Obi. At least on my TL. — Bolouere (@boluxxxx) October 12, 2018 If Atiku has truly picked Peter Obi, then Buhari should start dualizing the road to Daura… — Son of The Most High (@olufemisp) October 12, 2018 Peter Obi was a fantastic pick by Atiku. At least, he is as cerebral as VP Osinbajo. — Dr. Dípò (@OgbeniDipo) October 12, 2018 If Atiku picks Peter Obi as VP, the catholic bishops of Nigeria will subtly campaign for him. Peter Obi is a die hard catholic and we are legion. — Ezinne (@zynnnie) October 11, 2018 Watch as children of this world will go and start digging nonsense now. “Oh Peter Obi had 3 girlfriends while he was at Uni.” “Peter Obi stole 23 HB pencils in 1974.” “Peter Obi did this and that.” — Dr. Dípò (@OgbeniDipo) October 12, 2018 Come post 29 May 2019, you find Peter Obi on economy class or by the luggage belt dragging space with you, don't be surprised. Naim way — The Great Oracle (@AbdulMahmud01) October 12, 2018 It would be very very nice for Osinbajo and Peter Obi to go head to head in a debate. Father Lord, it would be a cracker. Brain vs brain. Lord please let this happen. Buhari and Atikulate must debate too 😞 — Dr. Dípò (@OgbeniDipo) October 12, 2018 Nothing anybody can say about Peter Obi that will shake most people. If you say he beat your family members with bulala and koboko in the market square I am here to tell you it’s because they were wasting public funds. — Abike (@Jollz) October 12, 2018 Report a problem
