Mother who married daughter faces 10 year jail term for incest, 8 years after she married her son September 9, 2016 4:30 PM — Linda Ikeji Patricia Spann, 43 (left) from Oklahoma is facing jail time after she married her daughter 25-year-old Misty Spann (right) in March 2016  and police learnt she had previously married her son, Jody in 2008 but divorced him in 2010 after he filed for incest. Below is a media statement from the Directorate of Priority Crimes Investigation (HAWKS): "Hawks Organised Crime Unit, SANEB and Crime Intelligence members had a joint operation which led to the arrest of a 26 years old Nigerian man for possession of drugs in Polokwane on Wednesday, 07 September 2016. The suspect’s apartment was searched and 31 pieces of rock, 17 pieces of half moon and one sachet including R35 000 cash were found. The estimated value of the drugs seized is R20 000. Special Court martial demotes major general to Brigadier General September 9, 2016 10:18 PM — Linda Ikeji A Special Court Martial of the Nigerian Army has demoted the Director, 68 Reference Hospital, Yaba, in Lagos State, Major General Patrick Falola, to the rank of Brigadier General. Falola was demoted after he was found guilty of unlawfully admitting students for clinical training without due clearance from the army headquarters. Major General Falola is said to have admitted international students from Espan Formation University, Cotonou in Benin Republic between July and September 2016. Spanish inventors create hands-free urinal for men September 8, 2016 7:00 PM — Linda Ikeji Three Spanish engineers from Valencia have invented a hands-free urinal for men dubbed the 'penis-bidet' and it comes complete with soap and drier. The Urinal 2.0  will wash and dry genitals after every trip to the toilet. Sensors in the machine detect when the men are done splashing before dousing the private parts with a three-second spray of soapy water. Once covered, a blast of hot air dries the privates, so that they can be slipped back into their underwear. Eduard Gevorkyan, the biochemist behind the idea, said:  'We came up with the use of sensors, so that the user does not have to touch anything and everything is as hygienic as possible.' September 8, 2016 3:51 PM — Linda Ikeji A Russian woman allegedly sold her 10 year old daughter to a suspected rapist, 23, for a bottle of vodka and 100 roubles (around £1.30) & then watched him rape her in Russia's Khabarovsk region, Police say.  The little girl was later found, scared and crying with her legs covered in blood, near the block of flats where the alleged attack occurred.  The man after he was arrested by police reportedly claimed that having 'bought' the child from her mum, he could do 'whatever he liked' with her. The child has since been released from hospital and is in the care of an orphanage as she is so scared she doesn't want to set her eyes on her mum.
