Do you have the passion, drive, and determination to make in the modeling industry? Then Parallel Magazine Discipline Models Boot Camp is for you! Whether you are an aspiring model or trying to break into the competitive world of modeling, it’s never a bad idea to perfect your skills. Parallel Magazine Discipline Models Boot Camp is designed to give each and every model the necessary skills and knowledge to guide them into navigating the world of professional modeling.

Mission:
The mission of Parallel Magazine Discipline Models Boot Camp is to teach models the fundamentals on how the modeling industry operates and give hands-on training from industry professionals. It takes more than just good looks to be successful in the competitive world of modeling. 

Parallel Magazine Discipline Models boot camp will give you practical training to look, walk, and photograph like a professional model. Aspirating models will have the remarkable opportunity to gain a perception into the modeling industry and learn the tricks and techniques to succeed in the competitive modeling world. Models will get a chance to be featured in an upcoming issue of Parallel Magazine.

Requirements: 
-Parallel Magazine Discipline Models Boot Camp enrolls men, women, and kids from age 10 and up. 

-Size: All sizes are welcome
-Ethnicity: All races are welcome

Parallel Magazine Discipline Models boot camp is a two-day course that will consist of: 

Day 1: October 1st 2:30pm - 8:00pm
An introduction to the fundamentals of the modeling industry. 

-Model portfolio consultation (how to set up a professional portfolio)
-How to book professional modeling jobs (guidelines & techniques on how to attend interviews and castings). 
-Meet real industry professionals (models, PR, coaches, photographers)
-How to prepare for auditions/ go-sees
-How to successfully book gigs
-Be in the presence of casting directors & professional models.
-Etiquette, Presence, Do’s and Don’ts, Health/ Fitness, Confidence buildup, Q/A

Runway Coaching:
-Posture, Walk / Demeanor, Body language/movements, Facial expression, Q/A

Day 2: October 2nd 9:30am - 4:30pm 
Everything learned on day one will be put into practice and execution.

Photo Session:
-Print Development, Proper Posing, Emoting, Angles, Model comp card set-up & design
-Hair and Makeup Session (tips on how to apply make-up professionally, beauty & skin beauty tips).
-Runway Walk critique by industry professionals
-Wardrobe and Styling
-Photo Session (polaroid/beauty and commercial)
-Deliberation to win a spot on the next Parallel Magazine issue

Abstract Professional theatre practice in Nigeria, has, over the years, suffered serious neglect. Many reasons have been adduced for this comatose state of the theatre, ranging from lack of facilities, government support, and funding, as well as negative audience attitude to the profession, to the state of insecurity.
